Clyde Butcher'due south ongoing exhibition, Living Waters and the Florida Landscape features 29 of Butcher's black and white, large-format scenic photographs. Once the City of Port St. Lucie has juried all works, the artists may be contacted to extend a contract to exhibit in the Art Gallery. Applications are accustomed throughout the year. She is a digital artist/photographer who serves on the lath of the Palm Beach Photographic Center. She has shown in other juried exhibits throughout Palm Beach County. BRBarbara studied at Brookdale Customs Higher, International Photographic Centre, Palm Beach Photographic Center, Armory Art Middle, Palm Embankment State College and Florida Atlantic University. Her juried exhibitions include Jensen Embankment, Okeeheelee Nature Center, Life Long Learning at Florida Atlantic University and Jonathan Dickinson Country Park.

"Puddle Steps" by Taylor Loughlin
The Port St. Lucie Civic Middle'south Art Gallery is proud to announce the opening of its latest exhibit, featuring the work of local artist Taylor Loughlin. This Civic Middle is home to a 2,000 square foot Art Gallery, which is a beautifully-appointed exhibition space, with stately columns and archetype woodwork. It offers local and regional artists a professional person venue in which to display their work. The exhibits, which rotate approximately every eight weeks, bring new life and vitality to the Art Gallery and expose visitors to new techniques, ideas and the beauty of all varieties of art. The Fine art Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.k. to 4:fifteen p.chiliad., and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The Civic Centre is located at 9221 Southward.E. Borough Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway one and Walton Road.
Getting Ready to Hang Taylor's Testify
Taylor Loughlin is a figurative oil painter and emerging artist from the St. Lucie area. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Flagler College in 2011. She has been a recipient of the Academic Achievement Award in Fine art and Pattern from Flagler Higher and John'south Island Community Service League Scholarship. She took 2nd place in a Student Juried Evidence at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum in 2010 and won the "Uncle Reg – Laissez passer It on Honour" from the A.Eastward. Backus Gallery Student Juried Show in 2006.
"Resting Hands" by Taylor Loughlin
Taylor Loughlin interned with Flagler Higher in a restoration of paintings done by George W. Maynard. She worked with students from the Escuela Superior de Arte del Principado de Asturias of Spain, who traveled from Aviles, Spain to restore the original ceiling paintings in the Dining Hall of Flagler College. As an intern, Loughlin worked shut with the other students, on twoscore human foot scaffolding, to reattach falling paint and patch up spots where the paint was worn away. Taylor besides interned with the Vero Beach Fine art Museum summertime camp programs for children interested in the arts and she has volunteered at various fine art programs for children in South Florida and Saint Augustine,FL.
"Puddle Side" by Taylor Loughlin
Taylor Loughlin currently works and lives in St. Lucie Canton where she works on her newest collection of paintings. She focuses on highly saturated skin tones and how far the flesh in an image can be pushed to prove color variation. She is interested in how the figure is portrayed and the colors that make upwardly the peel tones. Her current piece of work is a written report of the figure's interaction with water—how the course is morphed under the h2o and how blue tones affect the pare.
"Direct Gaze" by Taylor Loughlin
Taylor tells us, "The ebb and flow of h2o dictates how an object appears within information technology. The chemical element of water changes how an object appears below the surface and becomes an intriguing visual experience for the viewer. The prototype may announced broken, foreshortened, or even morphed. This illusion creates a visual experience, forcing the eye and brain to decipher what it sees. The fragmentation of the paradigm interacting with water is both puzzling and beautiful. My piece of work involves mixing highly saturated skin tones with blueish hues to illustrate the intricacies of how the flesh and water collaborate".
