OUR REVIEW
Best Women's Overall: adidas Stella Court
Durability guarantee: No
Fit: Slightly long - Medium width - Medium arch
What we love: A favorite among the TW women, the Stella Court is available as a women's model only. Once known as the adidas Stella Barricade Boost, the Stella Court are just as stylish as ever and come equipped with the same fit and technologies that made them so popular a few years ago. The double-layer Primeknit upper is super soft and breathable, and the seamless bootee design offers immediate comfort. The shoes remain stable with the Torsion system, and the Boost cushioning keeps them feeling responsive through long court sessions.
Best Overall Honorable Mention: KSwiss Ultrashot 3
Durability guarantee: Yes
Fit: True to size - Medium width - Slightly low arch
What we love: The Ultrashot 3s, like the Court FF 2, manage to balance comfort, support, stability and durability. When our playtesters were wrapping up their review, they were hard pressed to find any negatives. These shoes simply excelled in nearly every category. The only slight drawback they noted was that the shoes can feel warm after a long session on the court. Overall, though, these updated Ultrashot 3s are hard to beat on the hard courts.

Best Stability/Durability: adidas Barricade
Durability guarantee: No
Fit: True to size - Medium width - Medium arch
What we love: The Barricade built a reputation as the standard bearer of stable and durable tennis shoes. This newest version feels more streamlined and lighter than classic models, but according to our team, it's just as stable and supportive as ever.
Best Stability/Durability: Asics Gel Resolution 8
Durability guarantee: Yes
Fit: True to size - Medium width - Medium arch
What we love: For the avid player, the Gel Resolution 8 focuses on stability, durability and cushioning all while offering a secure fit. If you burn through the outsoles, these shoes are a must try. The snug medium width will need a little break-in time, but after that, players will find this shoe's performance to be well worth the wait. The durable outsole will keep you grinding on the court day after day and is backed by a six-month durability guarantee. If you have worn the Gel Resolutions from the past, we can confidently say the 8s are one of our favorite updates.

Durability Honorable Mention: Nike Vapor Cage 4
Rafael Nadal and the TW playtesters would agree Nike has created a supportive, stable shoe by blending the best features of two of its most iconic tennis shoes (Vapor + Cage). With an upper and bootie that hold your feet in, players will appreciate the bouncy underfoot feel and six-month outsole durability guarantee. If you are a hard-court slider, these shoes have been built for you!
MEN'S REVIEW | WOMEN'S REVIEW
Stability Honorable Mention: Nike React Vapor NXT
Like the Vapor Cage 4 above, the Vapor NXT blends features of stability and speed. This shoe might tip the scales as heavy, but they still feel rather nimble around the court, and a stiff frame along the lateral side helps keep the shoe feeling stable. These Vapor NXTs won't be as durable as the Vapor Cage 4 or Asics Gel Resolution 8 but will feel faster on court.

Honorable mention: KSwiss Hypercourt Supreme
We're not sure if we would call this a runner-up because it really depends on which playtester you ask which is more comfortable, the Hypercourt Express 2 or Hypercourt Supreme. Although these shoes are built to offer support and stability, anyone who loves the standard comfort of KSwiss shoes but sometimes feels weighed down by them will appreciate the responsiveness and quickness of the Hypercourt Supreme.
WOMEN'S REVIEW | MEN'S REVIEW
Comfort Honorable Mention: New Balance 996v4
With this fourth version of the 996, the on-court feel is light and fast. This has a low-to-the-ground ride with lots of court feel for speedy footwork. As a bonus, the knit upper gives New Balance plenty of opportunities to use exciting colors.
